Exhibition Stand Design:

“A Forest Path” Concept Design & Decoration

Fani Antoniou Interior Designer for “Xylokat Quality Wooden Surfaces” | Interzum Trade Fair 2025, Cologne, Germany

Interior designer Fani Antoniou created the exhibition stand of Xylokat inspired by a forest walk, featuring curved pathways, sculptural forms, immersive layouts, and strategically placed products.

A warm color palette, special decorative finishes, and atmospheric lighting made the stand welcoming and unique. Trees, plants, and anniversary elements highlighted the brand and its 30-year history, while functional bespoke reception furniture ensured elegance and practicality. The result is a memorable, engaging space that elevates the brand and enhances visitor experience.

How the Design Concept enhanced Brand Identity & Visitor’s Experience

Inspired by the serene experience of a forest walk, interior designer Fani Antoniou developed an exhibition stand where visitors are invited to explore curved pathways and unique passages. The layout was designed to guide visitors naturally through the space, allowing them to discover the products, enjoy the atmosphere, and engage with the brand in a memorable way.

The design emphasized brand identity through a holistic approach: strategic product placement allowed the materials to be showcased beautifully, while visual merchandising and storytelling transformed the booth into an immersive brand journey. Special 30th anniversary logos and a digital screen presenting the company’s history reinforced the celebratory character of the stand and highlighted its values.

Lighting & Furniture Design of the exhibition stand +

A Warm Color palette that stands out

A carefully designed lighting scheme brought atmosphere and depth to the space, with trees and plants illuminated dramatically to strengthen the forest concept. To further enhance the experience, a warm color palette was developed and combined with a special decorative finish, making the stand feel welcoming, attractive, and uniquely memorable.

In addition, the team studied and designed reception and customer service furniture, including dedicated stands for the company’s catalogs, ensuring both functionality and elegance in visitor interactions.

The natural elements worked in harmony with the wooden surfaces, creating a cohesive narrative that connected the brand’s products with the beauty of nature. Beyond aesthetics, the stand was designed for functionality, visitor experience, and commercial impact, elevating the company’s presence at the exhibition, adding value to the brand, and creating a space that attracted clients and inspired sales.

Ensuring succesful Implementation, Styling & Decor

Fani Antoniou oversaw the complete selection of colors, materials, and furniture, both before and during the exhibition. She personally visited the stand during its construction to finalize and adjust the lighting, product placements, styling, and every detail of the space, ensuring a fully polished and cohesive result.
